Synaptika will follow a phased approach, prioritizing mechanism validation over premature parameter commitment.

Phase 1: Foundation (Q1–Q2 2026)

• Primitives implementation: node registration, pool creation, VPI minting.
• Sideloading software (synap CLI) for node operators.
• LocalNet development environment for internal testing.
• Hub MVP with primary market VPI minting.

Phase 2: Incentivized Testnet (Q3–Q4 2026)

• Public testnet launch with real node operators.
• Runtime MVP: scheduled and on-demand workflows.
• Marketplace secondary trading (VPI transfers and leasing).
• Slashing, reputation, and reward distribution parameter calibration.
• Security audits and adversarial testing of artifact access model.

Phase 3: Mainnet Launch (2027)

• Production mainnet deployment.
• Full Runtime with event-driven workflows and artifact access.
• Pool Curator program — opening pool creation to third parties.
• Enterprise tier with fiat on-ramps and abstracted token mechanics.
• IVM specification v1 and agentic workload support.
